My
parents named me Sonya (Wisdom) and
my spiritual teacher Yogi Bhajan named me Ad
Sach Kaur (Princess
Who is True Since Before the
Beginning of Time).
After
stints as an illustrator and fashion
model, I had the wonderful fortune to pursue a career
in the emerging artform of computer graphics (CG).
I worked for many years as a CG animator and director
for film and television. Based on this experience,
I was invited to design and teach courses in this new
field at two New York City art colleges.
Gradually I
wandered onto a spiritual path of kundalini
yoga and
meditation.
While meditating,
I began to realise how I could transform my work to
be of greater service to people—a passion that
burned inside my heart. As a result, Send A Blessing™ was
born in January 2007. Tim Binkley, my
husband and life partner, is the online programmer.
Together we created this website to provide
"spiritual music video" eCards, that might
help you express your heartfelt feelings to others.

Send
A Blessing™ was
inspired by my experience growing up in Ontario,
Canada. My extended family was widely dispersed.
Sending gifts and cards in different languages
was the only way
I could stay in touch with loved ones. Send A Blessing™ carries
this intent into the digital age.
For any occasion,
with greetings in many of the world's languages, you
can send an eCard to a Dear One just as I did and still
do with friends, family, and colleagues. I hope
you will reach out and send some love, thanks, encouragement,
sympathy,
congratulations...for these are the small blessings that
make each day precious.
It has been both my great pleasure and an honor to work
with the extraordinary people who help me realize each
eCard: dancers, actors, musicians, yogis and yoginis,
lighting technicians and crew, wardrobe and make-up artists,
fellow
designers
and artists who are my very best critics...and above
all the Send A Blessing children who
have been better actors
and actresses than I ever dreamed! Thank you
one and all, and a most special thanks to my dear
family, my spiritual teachers,
and wide community of friends -
to you I dedicate this work in hopes that
it
may serve
